The Gilmer County Chamber of Commerce actively supports the industries and businesses, both large and small, that operate in the county, as well as contributes to the planning processes that guide how Gilmer County will grow new business and industry in the future. Whether it’s offering business classes and seminars to member companies, supporting the efforts of the school system to increase the graduation rate, promoting tourism through festivals and events, or encouraging business-to-business relationships among members, the Chamber plays a positive role in Gilmer County.

The mission of the Chamber of Commerce is to promote and encourage the commercial, industrial, agricultural, civic, social, economic, tourism, and educational interests of the Gilmer County area, including Ellijay and East Ellijay.

The Gilmer County Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1979 and works continuously to promote our area, inform visitors and newcomers, foster and develop a strong economic base, encourage the expansion of well-planned business and civic growth, and to enhance the quality of life of our citizens.

We offer the strength and knowledge of our combined experience and a forum by which others may find resources and support within our communities.
