For 53 fun-filled years, the Georgia Apple Festival has brought two exciting weekends in October to Gilmer County. This festival features over 300+ vendors with handmade, hand-crafted items, on-site demonstrations, live music, and delicious fair food. The countdown is officially on for the 2024 Georgia Apple Festival!

What are the festival hours?
Saturdays 9 AM – 6 PM, Sundays 9 AM – 5 PM
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the Georgia Apple Festival.
However, the Apple Arts festival in Downtown Ellijay is pet friendly and runs on the same days and times.
How much is admission?
Admission to the Georgia Apple Festival is $10 per person, and children 12 and under are free.
Is this an outdoor festival?
The Georgia Apple Festival is an outdoor event, taking place at the Ellijay Lions Club Fairgrounds.
What happens if it rains?
The Georgia Apple Festival is a rain-or-shine event.
Do you rent wheelchairs or motorized scooters?
Sadly, this is not something that we offer at this time. Accessibility is limited at the fairgrounds.
Do you offer handicapped parking?
Yes, but it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Can I still apply to be a vendor at the festival?
