Ellijay is gearing up for its annual Light Up Ellijay event. This year’s festivities include a 25-ft high gingerbread house, pictures with Santa, a grand Christmas tree lighting ceremony, face painting, and more. What makes this event truly special is its commitment to giving back, with all proceeds benefiting the projects of the Friends of Gilmer Animal Shelter.
